Freeman complements Summer Street's healthcare team with extensive transactional experience, a broad network, and deep domain expertise in healthcare services.

In his role as Healthcare Advisory Partner, Barry will provide valuable leadership in originating, screening, structuring and growing fund investments in the healthcare services sector. Through the addition of Mr. Freeman, Summer Street will continue its emphasis on successfully partnering with management teams growing middle market healthcare services businesses.
Barry is the former managing director and head of Healthcare Services Investment Banking at Lazard Middle Market, LLC and has over fifteen years experience leading healthcare M&A transactions and advising business owners on healthcare strategy.
Barry earned an MBA with High Honors from Chicago Booth, University of Chicago and his BS in Economics from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
